The ad also shows the audience that beauty lies in everyone and that one should look towards their beauty and not their flaws.

This ad is an Institutional ad which makes the society aware about what real beauty is and what it is like to be finding the flaws in ones beauty. By showing the concept in an inspiring theme it would bring a touching feel in the minds of the audience which would eventually make the audience remember the ad.
Product Placement
The product is not being shown in the ad which is actually a good thing as the main focuse is on the message rather than the product placement . The logo of the brand is being shown at times to make the audience know which brand is promoting the message also the logo indicates a sign of purity which also supports the whole concept of the ad.
Branding
Dove is a brand which has been there for several years. The main concept of the brand is about building self-esteem and body positivity. The visual and verbal language used in the ad relies on the audience which is basically a company strategy. The logo of the brand is a golden bird which shows peace which also shows purity.
Cultural Significance
#stopthebeautytest was a campaign arranged by dove brand . Through this campaign they collected the stories of rejection from nationwide . They also made young women who were facing the rejections as the protagonists in the ad to make the campaign a success.
What Works and What Doesn't
The moment I watched this ad I felt so inspiring. The bgm and the whole concept itself bring goosebumps hence for me there is no flaws in this ad and the whole ad is well established.
